Brain Training 4 Dogs Review

Brain Training 4 Dogs Review

Choosing the right training program for your pup is tough. There are hundreds of courses, seminars, webinars and DVD series out there. So how do you go about choosing the right one for you and your pup? The answer is you have to try to find a program that fits your learning style so that you can can properly implement it while training your dog. This is where Brain Training 4 Dogs was the right fit for me. First, I love that it gave me the confidence to train my older dog. Molly is almost 7 years old and has had no real formal training. I taught her to sit, lay, stay (she is not very good at this one) and come. She is a terrific dog, she never barks and is super soft and playful with our 2 young boys (5 and 3), but lacks a lot of the skills better trained dogs already have. What I wanted in a program was something that was easy to digest, used scientific based training that is force free and focuses on building your connection with your dog. Adrienne Farricelli has been working professionally with dogs for more than a decade, and has a dual certificate in training. You can learn all about her impressive credentials here.

Molly and I have been so close for so many years. But I feel like the past few years we have drifted some. Work has gotten busier for me and life with two kids eats up a lot of my time.

So one of the best parts of starting this program is I feel so much more in tune with Molly, it has definitely rekindled our close friendship. So what is it like?

Structure:

The entire program is broken into simple easy to understand games that breakdown the training process into small bite size chunks that work no matter how much time you have for training.

Behavior and Brain Training

Additionally the primary courses are broken into two different tracks.

  1. Behavior Training: This is where you have in-depth science based tutorials that break down why your dog is exhibit bad behavior like, whining, barking, digging and more… and how you can target those bad behaviors with techniques that will eliminate those behaviors . One of the things I like best about this track is that it gets so specific, you truly get to dive deep into what your dog is thinking and help them understand how to overcome the bad behavior that is driving you crazy. Ready to give it a try? Checkout the behavior course now.
  2.  Brain Training: Think of the Brain Training program as your dogs formal education from Kindergarten to Post Graduate School. In fact the program is ordered after that exact fashion. Utilizing interesting games to tap into your dogs intelligence, that build upon one another over time. Each one is not only fun but actually teaches your dog must know skills. Keep in mind that even the Pre-School level module is great for old dogs as well as puppies, you can teach old dogs new tricks.

Philosophy:

Teach with love (force free) science based activities that will stimulate your dogs mind and help keep it in great mental shape. Utilize proven training methods to help your dog learn the basics and build a foundation of learning that stands as perfect building blocks for the rest of the modules. At the end of each module there is a test and easy to understand grading system that will let you know if you are ready to move to the next module.

The entire program as a whole is well designed and easy to follow on the members section of the site, and includes great resources like pictures, video and special tips to help you along the way. All of this for just $47 dollars is an incredible deal. Heard enough? You can pick it up today!

While I highly recommend the product I am just a regular dude who has found the training to be effective and useful. This program comes highly recommended from dog training experts around the world.

This is what Dr. J Coats a veterinary adviser for PetMD.com had to say about the program:

“Today’s dogs suffer from a lack of mental stimulation and quality time spent with “their” people. The resulting boredom and anxiety can lead to no end of physical and behavioral problems. Brain Training for Dogs is the solution! In a clear and concise manner, Adrienne Farricelli walks owners through a series of puzzles and exercises that will challenge and entertain dogs of all abilities.”
